Use a trimming knife to remove a blister in a veneered surface. Cut the blister down its centre. Press down on one side of the blister and work a wood glue into the raised side with a flexible knife or a piece of thin card. Press the raised side down, wiping off any excess glue. And repeat the procedure with the other side. If the repair has been made near the edge of the surface. Cramp a block over it for at least twelve hours to allow the glue to set. Cover the repair with waxed paper to prevent the wood block sticking to the surface. If a cramp cannot be fitted, cover the waxed paper with a flat block and a suitable heavy weight.
