Adjusting the hinges of a door can prevent it catching on the jamb or the floor as it opens and closes. If the door is catching near the top, pack the hinge out at the bottom by inserting a strip of card between the hinge and the framework. This will raise the door and push the bottom over slightly while moving the top of the door back. If the door is catching near the bottom of the jamb, pack out the top hinge with card in the same way.
