When lining a wall with polystyrene sheeting, overlap the edges of adjacent sheets by about 25 mm 1 in. Using a metal straight-edge as a guide and a sharp trimming knife, cut through the centre of the overlap, taking care to cut-both thicknesses of sheeting. Peel off the top strip, then gently lift the cut edge and peel off the bottom strip. Spread adhesive under the raised edges and press them down carefully with a wallpaper brush.
