Bond aluminium surfaces together with a two-part epoxy-resin glue as an alternative to soldering them. First, clean the surfaces being joined with turpentine substitute. If necessary, and roughen them with a coarse grade of emery paper to provide a good key for the glue. After this, mix the necessary amount of glue and spread it over the two surfaces. Allow the glue to dry for a few minutes and then cramp the surfaces together. Leave the glue to harden for at least six hours.
